Does anyone know where the list of winners is for the Dec. 31 raffles? Hopefully if one of us on the blog win it will be posted here as well.
I'm betting they were already informed via email. I had little hope as ballots were disappearing/reappearing/showing up when I didn't enter ect..It sounds like it was really messed up at the end.
well I got an email today saying I won The Big Book of Canadian Trivia!, At least I finally won one thing from this program. better late then ever. Sweet.
There is no winners up on the site yet. I think they wait until all winners are e-mailed before they post then winners on the site.

Yes it is still possible to get into the mini putt...(check previous day posting on how to get into the site)and the funny thing is since most people are no longer playing you will get extra bonus for being the high scorer for the hour...heck there is no one to compete with so that is easy...then you can go and use your points on the slot machine...raffles win for that seem to be sent to you as well as OLG so not sure how this will work out..

Yes Anon @ 10:55 is right re the miniputt & old slot machine. I wrote Kelowna Vincent asking why they were still on the site. She said the are run independently and have no value regarding rewards anymore...but we can still play for fun! Yes it's been fun trying to keep a low score for nothing!

Jan. 21,2010...Bill Carroll really took the cake when he announced that he was too ill (from eating SUSHI) to host his program on Monday. I'm pretty sure that the majority of Haitians (many with un attended, festering wounds that could result in operations to remove their limbs) would consider his lame excuse less plausible than that of a "school boy". ...and he accused John Moore's arguments of being immature! Shame on Bill for this and many other faux pas! I wish that he WOULD pack up and move to the U.S. Your radio station will survive the loss!

What does Haiti have to do with Bill not hosting his program? Believe me, if you get food poisoning going to work is the last thing on your mind. It's not "shameful" for Bill to take a day off becuase he is sick.
Spare me the drama.
Is anyone able to listen tomorrow morning to the travel show from 10-11 a.m. Saturday morning as there is a "phrase of the day" mentioned during the travel show with Chris Robinson and if you sent in a question about the travel destination of the week (which is a trip for 11 days to Spain), and they call you, you need to know the phrase of the day, and I work late shift so won't be able to listen!! So if anyone hears it could they PLEASE post oit here as soon as possible?

Yup ... he's going to LA - the station is KFI 640 where apparently he is scheduled into the noon to 2pm slot ...
I just hope that the LA lunchcrowd listeners won't get any indigestion ...
Ironically, it is quite "co-incidental" that John Oakley is the morning host of AM 640 between 5:30 and 10am ... something that Bill Carroll may have aspired to, but unable to achieve ... well, at least he will be working at a 640 radio station ... lol
Anyways, I hope that the KFI management reads Bill Carroll the riot act and curbs his condescending/overbearing nature ... who knows ... under proper direction ... Bill Carroll just may be turned into a decent talk show host.

I wish they would try to bring back Ted Woloshyn - he was a fun guy, had a good rapport with the listeners, was never offensive, did not talk constantly about his kids and wife, etc ...
sort of a guy who would bring back many of the lost listeners ...
but then again ... that would be too logical and logic was a thing of the original CFRB and seems to be lacking in this newer version operating under the guise of newstalk1010
it's probably the "R" in CFRB that the new owners (ASTRAL) want to rid the radio station of ... and yes ... the "R" stands for Rogers, the founders of the station ...

Hello. Haven't been on since the bonus rewards ended Dec 2009. Lots has changed with the radio station. Does anyone know what's happened with John Donabie weekend show? Last time he was on air was the wkend of June 12th & 13th.
